Madison / The network story

A local gateway
in both directions.

The Madison Network combines two 13-foot by 31-foot digital poster displays at Highway 34 and Washington Avenue. The east- and west-facing reads connect a campaign with Madison’s commercial routes and travel toward Sioux Falls, I-29 and the surrounding lake region.

The same gateway serves local errands, commuter trips and visits into or out of town. It gives a local business or regional advertiser a focused place to introduce its message. Read direction and destination context still matter when the campaign includes a location cue.

The flight / How it works

Understand the buy.
Follow the rotation.

The network buy includes the east- and west-facing digital displays, with a 7-second hold on each scheduled play. The campaign rotates between the contracted directions during its flight. Confirm the active schedule, dates and creative assignments with BYB before launch.

BEFORE THE ROUTE / THE MARKET

Why advertise
in Madison?

University life, manufacturing and nearby recreation give Madison several distinct campaign occasions.

  • A university in the city.
  • More than a campus town.
  • A recreation setting.
Two ways to plan

Choose the coverage
that fits the objective.

01 / THE NETWORK

The network / product buy

ONE CAMPAIGN
CONNECTED LOCATIONS

Choose the network when both directions through the Highway 34 gateway belong in the plan. It is a focused Madison buy for local awareness, an offer, a service message or an event campaign.

02 / THE WIDER PLAN

A selected face / wider plan

YOUR OBJECTIVE
THE PLACES THAT FIT

A selected face can concentrate on one approach. A regional campaign can connect Madison with the relevant Sioux Falls or other South Dakota markets when the audience journey requires more than one town.

Your BYB representative confirms the available buying options, flight dates, current roster and any placement requirements in the proposal.

Advanced advertising capabilities

More relevant messages.
A coordinated campaign.

A message can change with the moment. Build the artwork and schedule together with BYB.

01

Dayparting

Morning coffee. Lunch plans. An evening out. Match your message to agreed times of day or days of the week.

02

Conditional & triggered ads

A warm day or a change in the weather can call for a different message. Prepare alternate artwork and agree on the trigger with BYB.

03

Live RSS & data feeds

Keep a countdown, score or other approved data current inside a branded layout. Live feeds require an approved source and content agreement.

04

Multiple creative versions

Tell more of the story with several designs in one flight. Agree on the creative assignments by time, location or subnetwork before launch.

Imagine the campaign

A place to be seen.
A reason to remember.

01 / CAMPAIGN IDEA

A Madison business launch

Introduce the business and one clear reason to remember it across both gateway reads.

02 / CAMPAIGN IDEA

A lake-region event

Build a recognizable event identity and readable date, with the approach checked before adding a travel instruction.

03 / CAMPAIGN IDEA

A regional service

Use local Madison creative within the wider market plan, preserving the same brand and service promise.

Frequently asked questions

The details
before the decision.

Where will my advertisement appear?

Both Madison face IDs appear in the list below, with their directions, location photography and individual specification PDFs. Use those details to check the campaign’s destination language and final file list.

Do all the faces show my ad at the same time?

The network follows its contracted rotation. The roster describes the included faces, while the schedule describes when a play appears. Confirm the active sequence and any location-specific requirements in the proposal.

Can I choose the times or days?

Yes—dayparting can assign approved creative to selected hours or days. Ask BYB to include the requested time slots and delivery in the campaign plan. A dining or service campaign can plan approved messages around the hours when they apply.

Can the message change by location or time?

Multiple approved creative versions can be assigned to the contracted schedule. The east- and west-facing reads can use approved directional variants where the approach warrants them. Clear file names and a written assignment list help keep the handoff accurate.

How long is a flight, and can I run for less time?

The standard flight is 28 days. For a shorter promotion or event, give BYB the exact dates and objective so the team can confirm availability and a suitable schedule.

Does BYB help with creative design?

BYB has an in-house creative team that can work with your existing logo and brand assets. Start with the objective, approved copy and selected formats. The creative specification section and individual media kits provide the production handoff.

Can I use a live feed or weather-triggered message?

Discuss the data source, switching rule and artwork with BYB before launch. Live content needs approved setup and a written content agreement; final capabilities and delivery are confirmed in the campaign plan.

What should I send to get started?

Send the objective, business or destination location, desired dates, market coverage, creative needs and any direction-specific requirements. BYB can turn that brief into a dated availability and campaign proposal.
